Weight Loss

Meet with Dr. Amanda to see if you are a candidate for Semaglutide. This is a new weight loss treatment that can help people hit their body weight goals. It is clinically proven to help clients lose body weight without sacrificing their favorite foods or spending countless hours in the gym.

How it works…

Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide (GPL-1) that stimulates the secretion of insulin from the pancreas. It delays gastric emptying to make you feel full for longer and decrease your appetite, leading to reduced food intake and weight loss.

Initially, you will have a consultation to be approved as a candidate to receive semaglutide injections. The injections are administered once weekly with a tiny needle into the stomach. We will instruct you on how to self-administure the injections at home. Eat month you will have a follow up consultation to adjust doing and address any concerns or side effects.

As with any medication, there are potential side effects. You may notice some bloating, loss of appetite, nausea, constipation, or abdominal pain. Nausea usually lessens as you continue taking semaglutide.

Q&A

How long do Semaglutide treatments take and do they hurt?

Semaglutide treatments typically require a series of injections over time. The injections are not painful and the entire treatment process usually takes between 6 to 12 months. However, the exact length of treatment depends on each patient and how they respond. All patients are trained on exactly how to administer the treatment, which is done at home.

Do I need to change my eating habits?

A nutritial shift if your diet is important since you will most likely be eating less, such as incorporating protein to your diet. This will also be discussed in your consultation.

iv therapy

Intravenous Therapy is a procedure that uses an intravenous drip to infuse essential vitamins, minerals, and amino acids directly into the body. This allows higher levels of nutrients to be introduced into the body than is possible via oral vitamins or supplements. It can be used to treat acute conditions and overall immune support.

IV therapies can be customized to your health needs but also include these standard offerings:

  • B-12

  • Glutathione

  • High Dose Vitamin C

  • Myer’s Cocktail

One hour IV Drip $215

One hour IV Drip $145

One hour IV Drip $155

How often should you get IV therapy?

In those situations where IV therapy is utilized to promote your overall wellness, one infusion every two weeks is both ideal and adequate for most people since nutrient levels are elevated for a couple of weeks following an infusion.

How long does IV therapy last in your body?

IV fluids often remain in the body for a few hours after absorption. However, the nutrients, minerals, and medication in the fluids may stay in your body for days, weeks, or even months. This is very dependent on your body's requirements and the sort of IV infusion you receive.
